I had the exact same experience! When I was a kid "Critters" was hell-a-scary... Scarred me for years, until I saw it again as an adult of course. Heheheh.

Nice stuff. Remember you have to define your form by suggesting, not going heavily. Your basic figure already throws shadows, defining lines without you touching it. Subtle. Like the Bugs Bunny cartoons? The lines around the form aren't black. They're brown. Keep it rreeeeeeeeally simple!
